Novel. I’m too clear if the return was due to the bankers being able to help the assets out of the dumps, or if it’s just chance that they happened to be holding ‘toxic’ assets that recovered. Either way, I think we should applaud Credit Suisse for not taking government money and owning their problem. That it came back (to this point) and became a positive is nothing I can be angry about.
