The timing couldn’t be better for this link. It appears a jury ruled against a lawyer for threatening someone with legal action if they didn’t such and such. A question that gets raised is whether it’s criminal to threaten someone with legal action if they don’t bow to your demands, especially when your demands are not grounded in either fact or the law. Wouldn’t it be funny if someone threatened to sue me, had no legal grounds, and I turned around on them and filed criminal charges? I’d laugh my ass all the way to court and back.
